Get Started Diving

Whether you want to try out scuba diving or get certified, we have many programs to fit a variety of interests and time schedules. You can even start studying for your Open Water certification at home, and complete the program diving in warm Maui waters! If you would like a course in the next week, please call our office directly for scheduling at 808-667-7496.

Discover Scuba

Immerse yourself in exotic sea life and take your first breaths under the clear waters of the West Maui coastline. The Discover Scuba program gives non-certified divers the thrilling experience of diving.

Cost is $209 plus 10.166% tax & fees

Discover Scuba is available Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

PADI E-learning

PADI eLearning courses allow you to complete the academic portion of your course online from anywhere, then complete your certification diving with us on Maui. 

Cost depends on course chosen

Choose from a variety of courses- from Open Water or Advanced Open Water Diver, to Enriched Air Diver, Rescue Diver, Dive Master or Instructor Development.

To get started, fill out an application on the PADI website. Then when you are ready, contact us to complete your chosen certification with Lahaina Divers!

PADI Open Water Diver

Our Open Water Certification through our 5 Star training facility is offered year round for individuals 10 years of age or older. Our checkout dives are completed in the beautiful waters of the West Maui Coastline. 

Cost is $449 for Individuals
$339 for 2 or More
plus 10.166% tax & fees

Includes online learning, confined water training, open water training. After online course, certification can be completed in three days.

All gear included, except dive log (available for purchase at the shop). Also includes food and beverages on dive charters.

Open Water Referral

Already completed your online Open Water academics and confined water training throuh PADI or another recognized Universal Open Water Referral program? Then you are ready to complete your certification in beautiful Maui.

Cost is $349.00 plus 10.166% taxes and fees.

Includes 4 open water dives through our 5 Star training facility. Offered year round for individuals who are 10 years of age or older. Our Referral checkout dives are completed over two afternoons. Rental gear and snacks between dives included.

Reactivate Scuba Refresher

Participation in PADI ReActivate™ is recommended as an easy way to refresh your scuba safety knowledge and in-water skills if you haven’t been diving in a while.

$259 with the code for online course
$199 without (online course purchased seperately)

Includes an online review and 2 tank Turtle Reef charter, rental gear and snacks between dives.

Advanced Open Water

Looking to upgrade your skills as a certified scuba diver? Explore more parts of the underwater world and gain new skills in our PADI Advanced Open Water course. Plus you can complete all of the academics online and spend your vacation time diving!

Basic cost is $359 per person plus the discounted cost of dives you choose to participate in, and 10.166% tax and fees.

Through the Advanced course you can add several specialty certifications, like fish identification, boat diving, drift diving, peak performance buoyancy, underwater photography and many more. You’ll do five different dives all under the expert guidance of your PADI Instructor in the beautiful waters of Maui county. This fun course has no formal classroom session simply a lot of great diving.

Rescue Diver

Taking the PADI Rescue Diver course will help you dive with confidence, increase your safety, as well as the safety of others.

Cost depends on options chosen

The course requires four classroom sessions and 5 open water sessions. Divers learn to deal with dive emergencies, learn to self-rescue, recognize and manage stress in other divers, use emergency management equipment and rescue panicked divers.

Adults and PADI (Junior) Adventure Divers 12+ who have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive may enroll in a Rescue Diver course. CPR and First Aid training within the past 24 months required (can be completed during the Rescue Diver course). You can also add the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider specialty diver course at the same time.

Adventure Diver

The Adventure Diver course is not just great for accomplishing your diving goals, it will also help you work toward a PADI Specialty Diver certification.

Cost is $249 per person plus 10.166% tax and fees.

Adventure Diver is a sub set of the Advanced Open Water Course consisting of 3 of the 5 Adventure dives. If you only have one day to devote to training dives and want to work toward your Advanced Diver rating, this is the class for you.

Emergency First Response

Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies.

Cost is $179 plus 10.166% tax and fees.

The course includes Scene Assessment, Barrier Use, Primary Assessment, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Serious Bleeding Management, Shock Management, Spinal Injury Management, Conscious and Unconscious Choking Management, AED and Emergency Oxygen use.
