Depth: 50’ – 60’

Large pinnacle, cove are inshore and  a lava ridge east of the mooring make up this wide ranging dive site.  The main pinnacle features a large archway, swim through and lava tube that are home to many species of nudibranchs and night dwelling creatures hiding from the sunlight.  Wire corals protrude from the wall on the eastern lava ridge along with the tiny wire goby that lives on them.  Watch for nesting Hawaiian Sargent Majors and the purple egg masses on the rocks guarded by the sometimes aggressive adults.  The rubble area in the cove often has many juveniles of different species.
