| Mark Schacht on I write as a PADI Divemaster (1994) who recently booked a Molokai drift dive in July 2011. Most respectfully, I suggest your dive boat staff need to pay greater attention to divers surfacing after the 'Fish Rain' dives near Mohuho'okiniki Rock: We were on the surface at least 10 minutes before the boat staff noticed us, and they were roughly 2 football fields away. Don't know whether they're using binoculars, but they should be. Also, safety 'sausages' aren't necessarily effective when wind is up--as it was that day for 2nd dive--I used my collapsible dive flag to signal boat. I am sorry you were on the surface approximately 10 minutes. Due to currents and the wind conditions it is common for the groups to separate and end up in different locations for pick ups and this is why we require a safety sausage for every diver on the charter and there are binoculars on the boats as well. The challenges of each diver towing a dive float were problematic and that is why we went to the safety sausages.  | Ed Schumann on Great fun as always. Maui feels like a second home once a year and the crew at Lahaina Divers feels like a second family. I have to give a shout out to Capt. Dan and a couple of this year's dive leaders - Elliot and Chelsea. They not only exhibit a professional competence but their enthusiasm makes me regret that last dive and look forward to next time. If you guys ever find yourselves escaping island fever in SoCal, look me up for a beer and some Bar-B-Q. |

| Ryan C on Went on 6 amazing dives with Lahaina Divers in May. I have never seen such a professional crew and outfit- safety was their absolute priority, along with respect for the sites and for the divers. Chelsea was a great master for all 6 dives and the pictures are professional quality- I have been having a blast showing them off (they are now my screensaver). All in all, an amazing experience. They were also great to my (uncertified) brother on his first dive ever on the "Discover Intro to Diving" set of 2 dives. I appreciated how comfortable they made him feel and he loved it! I can't imagine ever diving with anyone else, as they have so many different options and vary sites all the time. Thanks for everything! |
 | Jim Chrisman on I have Multiple Sclrosis and they are GREAT! They have a handicap Scuba instructor that was there to help me as needed. I have many dives, but my legs sre weaker now and so she pulled me along against the current when it got to be too much. That was day one on Turtle reef. Day two at The Crater they had me with a dive master that was always looking out for me. Even through I hung back his group he was still checking on me to make sure I was ok. I did my open water checkout dives with them in 1999 and I love the new boats. Lots of room and they are still a first class operator like they were back then. I hope to return to Maui in the future and will definitely dive with them. I also highly recommend them as a dive operator if your'e looking for one. Jim |
 | Brandon Nydell on Just finished 6 days straight of diving with you guys. It was a blast seeing the sharks and sea turtles and all the cool fish, eals, crabs, lobsters. Also today we got to swim with the dolphins 30-50 feet under. The whole crew was great and helped out with everything. Also Levi was a great instructor who was with me all 6 days and did my 4 certification dives. Can't wait to come back in the future. |

| Diane Schwind on Thanks for a wonderful time diving. Our family had a blast. Dave and I had not dove for a long time, and you made it easy, painless and NOT frightening. I have to tell you, though, Dave and I dove Molokini 30 years ago, and it was much more beautiful, colorful, and had thousands more fish. It is a shame to see this beautiful place so changed. I was extremely impressed with you guys in terms of attention to detail, safety, and overall high level of professionalism. It can sometimes get hectic on bigger boats due to the amount of people. Things went smoother with you guys then I've seen on boats with only 6 divers. I will recommend you to anyone I know heading to Maui. |

When booking the dive Levi was extremely patient with us as we were unsure of our plans and had to phone in several times. Levi took time with us, answered all of our questions/concerns and appeared not to be frustrated by our lack of planning. Thank you Levi! The second thing we wanted to point out is the fact that on both dives Levi removed debris from the bottom of the ocean floor which we were both very impressed by. Levi demonstrated his sincere concern and passion for what he does and at such a young age we were blown away. Thank you Lahania Divers and especially Levi for making this the best dive in Maui yet! | jim gant on This was my second year to dive with Lahaina Divers and i was impressed with the improvements. Divemaster quality was much improved and safety was their first concern. I was so pleased with this group of instructors that I took three specialty courses with them and thoroughly enjoyed each of them. The drift on the backside of Molokini Crater was awesome and very well controlled by the staff and boat captains. We had enough freedom to explore yet were kept together as a group the way a drift should be. I cant wait to dive with you guys again next year. | T Hau on I went on the Molikai shark dive. There were only 6 divers which is unusual. We dropped down to 80ft with a bottom of around 140-160 and were about 125 yards from the island. We swam in the blue for 40 minutes with nothing to see. During our surface interval the divemaster ignored us and layed in the sun. Our second dive was exactly the same. Insanity is repeating exactly the same thing and expecting different results. If given a choice I think the group would have chosen a different dive profile. I decided not to do the other 6 boat dives with Lahina divers after such a waste of money and bubbles. Lahaina Divers Reply on Aloha Mr. Hau, Thank you so much for diving with Lahaina Divers.
