Depth: 50’

Just outside the Marine Life Conservation District of Hulupo’e Bay, directly in front of the Manele Bay hotel is Emerald City.  Three ridges with coral and sand between them.  The second ridge has four swim-throughs to wind in and out of. The tube at the deepest end (seaward) has a large boulder in front of it.  The third ridge has a small ledge at the 15’ depth, sharks, larger ledge possible shark. Tropical fish, lobsters, octopus and shrimp.  Ridges run perpendicular from shore, tops at 5-10’ depths for the first two ridges and 20’ on the third ridge.  Lava tube swim through on all three of the ridges are very interesting.  All four of the swim-throughs of the second ridge run across the ridge parallel to shore, between the ridges are large green lobe corals and finger corals.  The 30 foot canyon just above the swim-through on the first ridge is especially appealing, the lave tubes along the tops of the ridges need to be viewed with caution because of size and surge.
