Discover the fun and excitement of Scuba Diving - Learn to scuba diving in Maui, Hawaii.
You will receive instruction for your intro dive on our boats from a professional PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. The instruction will begin on the boat with a flip chart presentation designed by PADI and after a short and easy quiz, to make sure you were listening, we begin to get our gear on & get in the water. Each Discover introduction diver will go in the water with the instructor for one-on-one training that will encompass mask flooding and clearing, regulator removal and replacement, hand signals for underwater communication, and basic information on scuba gear. Once all introductory divers have learned the in water skills during the first dive, the second dive is a reef discovery dive. Lahaina Divers PADI Instructors will monitor your depth, air supply, buoyancy, and comfort level at all times. The maximum depth on these dives is 40ft, with many sites averaging in the 20 to 25ft range. The instructor will take you in a group of no more than 4 Discover Scuba Introductory Divers. Discover Scuba Dives may count toward a full Scuba Certification.
