PADI Adventure Diver

Adventure Diver The first step beyond PADI Open Water Diver certification; Adventures in Diving offers different experiences and adventure options which range from simple introductions of underwater activities to more challenging experiences; and ultimately to two distinct certifications.

PADI Adventure Diver is a vehicle to a wide range of activities that create adventure, fun and recreation no matter how varied your interests. Peak Performance Buoyancy offers improved buoyancy control and reduced air consumption, Boat Diving techniques make your charters more enjoyable. Your enjoyment and understanding of what you see when diving is enhanced with Fish Identification and Underwater Naturalist. You'll get more bottom time by using Multi-level techniques. With your instructor's guidance, you choose the dives that interest you. As you dive, you'll develop skills that expand the types of dives you can do; make diving more fun, versatile, relaxing and more interesting. You can complete this 3-dive program in 1 day, and credit these dives toward your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification.

PREREQUISITES:

Open Water/ Jr. Open Water Diver.
Minimum age 12 Y/O.

STUDENTS TO PROVIDE:

Student Materials: Adventures in Diving Manual, Logbook, 2 passport size photos.
Student Equipment: BCD, Regulator (with computer recommended), Wetsuit, Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Wetsuit, Slate with pencil, Timing Device, Compass,& Knife. If doing night dive: Dive Light required. If doing Multi Level Dive: RDP "The Wheel" required.

1 Day- 3 Dives.

Class Schedule:

BEFORE Class

Complete PADI Student Record Folder, Medical Statement & Questionnaire ("YES" on your medical form will require you to get a signed medical release from a physician prior to class), Statement of Understanding, and Liability Release.

Read BEFORE Class

Complete Scuba Quick Review (pg xiii-xiv).

Read Modules & Complete: Knowledge Reviews for Peak Performance Buoyancy, Navigation, and one elective from the following: Boat, Naturalist, Enriched Air (Nitrox), Night, Fish I.D. or Multi-Level.

Day 1:

Discuss Knowledge Reviews with Instructor.

Do 3 Dives with Instructor.

Debrief, log dives, complete paperwork.
