Instructor Development Course

• What are the costs? $1150 plus cost of course materials. EFR course $300, incls cost of materials.

• Is rental gear included? No, however rental gear is available for a nominal fee.

• Who is a candidate for the Instructor Development Course? PADI Divemasters

• Where is the Instructor Development Course held? Lahaina Divers, Maui, Hawaii

• Where can one stay on Maui during the course? On the internet, "Outrigger Aina Nalu" has a condominium property located within close proximity to our dive shop called the "Outrigger Aina Nalu". Check out the classified ads at www.mauinews.com for a room or apartment to rent.

Biography on Laura Scott

Laura Scott began scuba diving in 1979 and progressed through advanced diving courses to Course Director in 1992. "I knew from the get-go that I wanted to become a scuba instructor. This was the first time in my life that I found out I could love a job." Laura worked as a Staff Instructor with Mike Tansey for five years before becoming a Course Director. "The best part of what I do is to watch people grow as individuals through their dive education." Laura is dedicated to the dive industry and the ocean environment. She and Lahaina Divers are committed to preserving the ocean environment for all to enjoy. Laura conducts Instructor Development Courses for local divers 3-4 times per year.
